Job/Role: Cleaning and repair work
Appearance: nix looks very much like a normal human. She is 18 by human years and has long red hair that comes down to her waist and she will never tie up unless she's fighting. She has bright green eyes and is very tall for her age but slim too. The only difference between her and humans is like all her race she has pointed ears like an elf is supposed to
Personality: Nix is one of few from her planet who were born with gifted powers and as a result this has effected her. People treated her with respect from the age of 11 when her powers were discovered so she is used to people knowing who she is and expecting her to be good. But due to her childhood is a very sharp and aggressive upon first meeting someone, she is very defensive too. She has been known to get into fights to defend the few people she cares about and if you can win her trust she is a very kind and caring and loyal friend. But it will take a lot of time to break though to that version her. She is a very smart girl and knows how to get what she wants, she is very mischievous and sly so tends to make trouble a lot but is also not one to be crossed lightly as she can happily take someone head off, literally.
History: nix's mother had nix when she was very young, she never told anyone who her father was and as soon as her baby was born she knew she had to hide her because her own family would see her child's hair and know her father was from outside their nation on the planet and get angry with her. So lila went to her sisters and begged her to look after the baby for a day while she rested but she never made it though the night, she was dead the next morning and her sister and brother in law had to bring up nix.
They made it clear from her first day with them that they didn't like her, her aunt would only feed her in the mornings and her uncle wouldn't even touch her. So nix grew up very much alone until her 8th brithday ,or rather the day her mother died that she had come to consider her brith day when another boy from the a near by village happened to see her crying at her window and asked her who she was. Her aunt and uncle had never let anyone know that lila had a child and so no-one knew about nix, but now someone had noticed her. The boy told nix the rest of the village and what it was like outside the houses and nix listened and wanted to learn as much as she could.
Then came the day when she decided to feed herself, she went into her aunt and uncles room and was looking for food when her uncle found her and took his knife out and reached out to her, he dragged her out of the room by her hair and nix simply waved her hands at him by reflex and then his grip loosened and she looked up, he had been caught in a wave of shadow. Nix yelped in shock and ran back to her room as her uncle tried to free himself and come after her. Nix knew the from that moment that she had to get away and so she took her mothers black gloves which was all she had of hers and jumped out of the window of her house and ran away.
She ran through the trees and forests of her home village until she couldn't move anymore and she collapsed.
She awoke in a hospital and panicked thinking they'd contact her aunt and uncle and take her back so she blasted the wall down with shadows but was caught. She was told about the shadow guards and taken for training with in a week. She spent the next 4 years training with the other shadow guards and was told she would be come the guard of the village where she had been brought up.
So at the age of 16 she went back to her home village and found her aunt and uncle again, they told her that she was the daughter of the shadow guard who guarded the king and that her mother had been a maid for the palace. They said that she was a maids child and would always be worthless and useless and nix snapped and killed them both with one hand. This our course landed her what was 50 years in human years and she was sent to prison. She'd not been there long when the mission was offered and she took it as soon as she could with the simple idea of ,"you only live once, so don't waste a single day". She plans on staying where ever it is they all end up and doesn't plan on ever going back to her home planet or prison ether, she hopes that she'll get a second chance at he life she wanted in this new place they are going to
