Name of Race: Shadow Mites or just Mites for short
Name of Home Planet: Crenna
Description of Planet: Crenna is very similar to earth. It has the same atmosphere and gravitational field to earth and only one sun and sustains both plant life and shadow mite themselves but It has 3 moons where as the earth only has one. One moon is black and one is White and the third is dark purple. Most of the planet is covered In forests of trees and bushes that are filled with deer like creatures that have horns on the end of their muzzles that the mites call Hora.
Description of Race: they look very similar to humans aside they have pointed ears and those with powers tend to have eyes coloured the same as their shadows.
There are 2 mite nations. The forest mites who live in rural villages in the forests and the open mites who have built towns and cities. The people have found that some children born at certain times when the purple moon ,(called the shadow moon) ,were gifted with powers to take people's negative life force, for example they would take away all worry and fear from someone who was depressed and channel it inside themselves and the are able to expel it as what ever they thought of. Each shadow mite can expel their shadows in a different colour and those who expel in the same colour as the shadow moon are seen as extra special and are trained to be guards of the forest villages and the royal family of the planet. The shadow mites who are lucky and powerful enough to have shadow moon colour shadows, (and they are very rare!), with the right training can expel their shadows as extra body parts, for example they may grow a tail or grow wings. This takes very good training and CAN NOT just be done by any of them, it also uses up extreme amounts of energy and can leave mites very weak if they don't "power up" very again soon.
They eat the fruits that grow on the trees of the forests and they will also eat Hora if they can catch them.
The royal family were the first of their kind to train shadow mites how to use their powers and came up their rules to govern the planet. They are guarded by the best of their trained shadow mites and nearly mites respect them. They don't ask for taxes or payment of any kind from their people but they are loved by nearly everyone.
They travel on foot or by Hora that have been caught and tamed, they dislike other forms of traveling and don't allow other forms of travel on to the planet unless there is very good reason for them to be there.
History of Planet/Race: The people of the planet have been organised into their two nations for about what is 350 human years. For mites a human year is three of their own and mites can choose to live by the mite calendar or the human one as they please. Humans found the planet about 120 years ago and now humans and mites have been living along side each other on the planet as human had polluted their own too much and Crenna has so much plant life and no cars or such like so pollution has never bothered them.
