Name of Race: Eco'thar
Name of Home Planet: Biel
Description of Planet: Biel is a lush green planet, fit with a thinner atomsphere than Earth, and composed primarily of Aragon and Nitrogen gas. Water covers only 27% of the surface, with much of that being rivers and lakes. Technology has yet to make a lasting impact with the people, save for those who managed to sneak aboard vessels that had touched down for explorations.
Description of Race: The Eco'thar are a strange batch. Contact with the flora and fauna of thier planet has altered thier mental state, and impacted them permenately. The most obvious sign of this comes from thier facial expressions. Almost all have a stuck look oblivion or curioisity. They do however make excellent options for work in confined spaces due to the flexibility of thier body. Most appear human in nature, but there have been reports of Eco'thar with scales found. Perhaps the strangest discovery of this race is the microfibrous material on thier hands and feet that allows them to travel up multiple surfaces, much like a lizard.
History of Planet/Race: Primitive in nature, there is much to teach the Eco'thar. That is if you can manage to not startle one into pummeling your head in. Being isolated from the civilized world has caused a rational fear of fast motion and is treated often with hostility. Rarely do these creatures walk upright and can instead be found scurrying about the walls or cieling as they avoid the other sentient beings in the area. Groups often gather together in cooler portions of any vessel they happen to be on, and are known to be more active in darker areas of the ship.
