Ok so this place is pretty great, the only thing I can think of as of right now to alter would be the cbox. It's great having one, but the one you are using can tend to be a pain at times. I've used it in the past and it can be troublesome to keep up with stuff in it.

So the one we have been using (and a good number of other forums I've either lurked or been a part of) comes from chatango. It's still free and guest friendly and what not, but it autorefreshes itself, gives a nice little POP (can be muted) when someone says something, and you can PM people through it as well, making it somewhat faster than going, finding the link to send a PM, type it out, send, hope the person refreshes and gets it, responds, etc.

Hmm, okay. I'm the most familiar with the cbox after having it on all my sites, so it's just my 'default'. I like it because the colors can be customized to match the site. If the chatango one has that option, I may as well switch it. Off to check out the site...

Yep, looks like I can use any colors I want. New chat box pending.

I hear ya, that's the one I used to use for the longest time as well until I found the chatango one. It's customizable like the one you have now, the only exception is people can have different font colors if they want. I don't honestly recall if you can have forced font colors on the chatango one, it's not something I ever played with, but as far as color scheme goes you can make it match the forum ^_^
